Today concludes our power week at St. Paul's Vacation Bible School. We've had a really fun week of bible stories and science experiments. Jill and I taught the" Bunsen Burners"- 14 kids (5-6 years old). Teaching is definitely a calling and I admire the teachers who do teach in schools full time--geez even part time. Jill and I were exhausted by the end of the week. I don't know how school teachers do it. However, watching the kids sing on stage and "get the lessons"---it's pretty darn rewarding and the surprise hugs too are worth the work.
We had a total of 200 kids attend this week! The largest attendance of the three VBS we participated in this summer.
